Marina Pandunata

Marina studied Interior Design at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California. Starting her design and production of teak furniture in 1989, of stone material since 1996, and finally focusing her design to bathroom products in 1998, and established BATI BALI with her sister in 2001.

"My objective is to integrate the spirit of Balinese traditional river bathing with onzen - the japanese bathing experience - the fusion of both concepts into a luxurious private outdoor or semi outdoor bathroom - a rendition of a resort and spa experience for your own home."

Lives and works between Ubud-Bali and Surabaya-Jawa since 1998. Ubud, her home in Bali, has inspired her journey of creatively combining stone and water. Her approach to design is one of respects toward Zen Living, natural material and texture. Her works direction is inspired by the natural surrounding where she lives. Her passion and interest toward natural stone is a natural connection and understanding, in her "hands" stone is a stone is a stone... BATI BALE Bath Gazebo encompases - with loving attention to detail - the outcome of her endeavors.

As the founder and inspirator of the company, Marina Pandunata set up the company with a brand BATi that would lead the trend with its originality and internationally.
